A terrorist attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Mohmand district was successfully thwarted by security forces early on September 6, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The incident, which could have resulted in significant damage, ended with the elimination of four suicide bombers before they could carry out their deadly mission. ISPR reported that the attack took place in the early morning when four terrorists attempted to infiltrate the FC camp. However, the alertness and swift response of the security forces neutralized the threat, killing all four attackers before they could cause any harm.

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab has claimed to have arrested 33 terrorists belonging to banned organizations during a series of secret operations conducted in various cities across Punjab, including Lahore.
